Who does the translation?
Professional translators who are native speakers of the target language for the translation you require. They are experienced and specialised in different areas (legal, economic, IT, medical, textiles, advertising, technical, etc.)
What is a sworn translation?
It is a translation certified by a professional who has been awarded the qualification of “Sworn Translator/Interpreter” by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Sworn translations are valid for official purposes, and always bear the signature and stamp of the sworn translator/interpreter, with his/her details (name, address, telephone no. and languages for which he/she is qualified). When does a translation need to be sworn?
Whenever the translation is required for certain procedures with an authority or administration, such as official approval of foreign qualifications, registry procedures, administrative procedures, certificates issued by different authorities, etc. When the translation is sworn, do I always need to provide the original documents?
We recommend you provide the original documents, so that the sworn translator has no problems identifying the stamps, type of paper and other features of the document.
What is a minimum charge?
This is the minimum charge made to carry out a translation, regardless of the number of words. The prices for a translation are established according to the language and number of words, applying a minimum charge for very small translations.
When is an urgent charge applied?
When a translation has to be delivered in less than 24 hours, or when the volume of text means that the usual delivery deadlines cannot be applied, because of customer requirements. How quickly will I receive the translation?
The time required to carry out a translation depends on a number of factors: the volume, the combination of languages, the format of the originals, the complexity of the text, and so on. As a general rule, the daily average for a professional translator is 2000 words. However, if you need a project translated within a specific deadline, contact us and we can give you a precise idea of whether it is possible to adjust to your dates.
How is the price of my translation calculated?
According to the combination of languages and the number of words. We are always available to provide you with a specific quote for your translations.
